Hi, my name is Tragar and I am a multimedia artist from the rocky mountains of Colorado. My curiosity and creativity have brought me to Portland where I have found great appreciation for the rich social and natural ecosystems that surround this city. I love to hike, bike, sit and stand, observe, use my hands, and try new things. These have all become outlets for me to practice drawing, photography, fabricating, painting, cooking, and so many other disciplines of art.
I specialize in fine-line botanical tattoos with an emphasis on realistic renderings with stylized illustrative shading and placement. I’m predominantly inspired by nature, children’s books, anatomy, geometry, and relationships, however I find my greatest satisfaction with tattooing from the ever-changing creative process between a client and artist. The relationship built between tattoo artist and client and their experience on the table are what make or break a tattoo. During and after a session I am committed to making clients feel safe and respected.
