Aloha! My name is Tiare and I am a Polynesian/ Melanesian artist from Honolulu, Hawaii born and raised. The practice of tattoos are deeply embedded in my culture and upbringing so it only feels right to share the pride and joy tattoos bring forth within ones being. For as long as I can remember I have always been with and around the craft, and consider it to be a core aspect of my identity. I first moved out to Oregon in 2019, going back and forth to my island home.
I love to do tribal tattoos, florals or nature, black and grey illustrative realism, fine line tattoos, and smaller-scale color pieces. I was schooled in doing permanent make up (PMU) to start my licensed career. I derive the most joy in pushing myself to grow within and throughout my creative endeavors. I strive to honor the art that adorns my lovely clients by positively perpetuating the values that uplift the self and community. I believe tattoos hold such a vast power in its ability to allow ourselves to better represent the desired expressions of our being. It’s an honor to be able to do this for a living.
