To the dismay of my teachers, I began drawing dumb doodles and weird characters all over the edges of my assignments at an early age. After school ended and I no longer had assignments to deface I began to spend my free time in coffee shops, continuing to draw animals and strange looking people.
Tattoos have helped me feel more comfortable in my skin, so finding a new way to express my art while also helping people look cool seemed like a natural progression for me.
I work in mostly high contrast black work, with a focus on birds and those same strange drawings I was marking up school worksheets with all those years ago.
